Uncertainties for the monthly averages were taken from the annual averages of individual measurement uncertainties.
I have also added 9 NHZ1 points between 1950 and 1959 to smooth the transition with IntCal
NH_zone1 is bounded in the south by approximately latitude ~40°N.
NH_zone2 is bounded in the north by approximately latitude ~40°N and in the south by the mean summer intertropical convergence zone.
NH_zone3 is bounded in the north by the mean summer intertropical convergence zone and in the south by the equator.
Southern Hemisphere Zones 1 and 2 are bounded in the north by the mean intertropical convergence zone. Data points are approximately monthly.
Southern Hemisphere Zone 3 is bounded in the north by the equator and in the south by the mean tropical interconvergence zone. Data points are approximately monthly.
